Commissioner Don Redfearn
Don was born in 1957 in Cedar Point, graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1975, and attended Appalachian State University. Throughout his career in skilled labor and public utilities, Don earned several certifications, culminating in his appointment as a PW supervisor with the Town in 2006. After 16 plus years of dedicated service to the town, he retired in 2022. Upon his retirement, he returned to his passion for woodworking, happily making sawdust by creating original, handmade pieces and restoring antiques.
You can often find him at CedarFest, with his woodwork proudly on display. His heart for public service has come full circle as a newly elected Commissioner.
Don resides in Cedar Point with his wife, Pam, and together they have two children and 4 grandchildren.
